Last Thursday, the Bulldogs arrived in Sofia for the first round of the Continental Cup 2025 in Bulgaria. The IIHF Continental Cup is a European ice hockey club competition organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). This competition serves as the second tier under the Champions Hockey League and offers clubs from various European countries the chance to compete internationally. For Belgium, Bulldogs Liège are participating in this European competition for the third time; previously, HYC and Turnhout Tigers also represented the Belgian colors.

The Bulldogs are competing against IRBIS (Bulgaria, Sofia), SISAK (Croatia), and CRVENA ZVEZDA (Serbia, Belgrade). In their first match on Friday, the Bulldogs won against CRVENA ZVEZDA, but yesterday they were defeated by a very strong Croatian team. Today, they will play their final match of the tournament against the home team IRBIS.

The final match will be played at 19:00 local time (18:00 Belgian time) and can be watched live via RBIHF.tv. We congratulate the Bulldogs in advance for their commendable sports performance and representation.
