During the extra ordinary general assembly, the RBHF board received full support to continue with the purchase of a new office location to host the RBIHF office. Due to the deteriorating situation at the current location in Berchem there was an urgent need to look for other options.
The proposal presented by Mr. Pascal Nuchelmans President of the Ice Hockey & Inline Hockey federation was well received and supported by all presented clubs. The investment marks a new era in the RBIHF history and will further support the future of our organisation.
This new office is recently built and provides besides easy access and nearby parking sufficient space for our National federation to maintain and extend current activities.
The new location is centrally located minutes away from the E314 highway exit Bekkevoort – Diest and only 8 minutes away from the LUMMEN highway intersection with the E314 and E313 insuring a fast connection from Brussels, Leuven, Liege and Antwerp.
The location provides additional office and storage space at no additional monthly cost containing a reception area, separate office, large meeting room and significant stock area.
The board aims to move into the new location by the summer.
To support the purchase of the new location the board released 150.000 Euro equity. Furthermore, the board communicated to refund 15% of 20-21 membership fees as COVID compensation to the clubs despite remaining office operational costs and missing income (games and events). In addition, the board aims to release like last season, a club assistance package at the start of next season, this depending on the financial results of the past season.
