In their fifth and final game at the Women's Ice Hockey World Championship Division IIB, Belgium fell to a determined Australian team. Australia needed just one point to secure the gold medal and left no doubt, claiming a convincing victory by scoring two goals in each period while Belgium was unable to find the net.
